رییس سازمان زندانهای کشور و   آقای پور محمدی ریاست  سازمان بازرسی کل   از بخش های  مختلف زندان گنبد بازدید  کردند و از نزدیک با مسائل و مشکلات زندان و زندانیان گفتگو کردند و آنها  را مورد بررسی قرار دادند.
آقای محمود امینی مدیر کل زندانها و اقدامات تأمینی و تربیتی استان گلستان در این مراسم اعلام کرد: با تلاش  مسئولین مجموعه زندانهای استان سوله پنج زندان گنبد با ظرفیت نگهداری دویستو پنجاه  نفر از زندانیان سا خته و با حضور پر خیر و برک ریاست محترم قوه قضائیه در استان گلستان  و ریاست محترم زندانهای کشور در زندان گنبد افتتاح شد
وی در ادامه افزود: این سوله با زیربنای هزارو سی صد متر مربع ظرفیت نگهداری از دویستو پنجاه نفر از زندانیان را دارد.
آقای امینی با تشکر از رییس قوه قضائیه و رییس سازمان زندانهای کشور  اعلام: برای ساخت و تجهیز سوله پنج زندان گنبد سه میلیارد و صدو ده میلیون ریال هزینه کرده ایم که مبلغ دومیلیارد ریال توسط قوه قضائیه ،مبلغ سی صدو پنجاه  میلیون ریال توسط بنیاد تعاون،حرفه آموزی و صنایع زندانیان کشور و مبلغ هفت صدو شصت  میلیون ریال هزینه صورت گرفته را اداره کل زندانها و اقدامات تأمینی و تربیتی استان پرداخت کرد
مدیر کل زندانها و اقدامات تأمینی و تربیتی استان گلستان  افتتاح سوله چهار زندان گنبد در ماه گذشته را در راستای حقوق شهروندی زندانیان گنبدی یادآور شد و گفت: تلاش ما این است تا برای اصلاح و تربیت  مددجویان مجموعه زندانهای استان همه چیز را فراهم کنیم تا زندانی پس از آزادی و خروج از زندان اصلاح شود و با رعایت هنجارهای جامعه شخصی مفید برای جامعه شود.
